According to the statistics of China Customs, the total value of China's import and export of goods in the first half of the year was 21.17 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.1%. Among them, exports reached 1.213 billion yuan, up 6.9% year on year. Imports reached 9.04 trillion yuan, up 5.2% year on year.

In terms of scale, the scale of China's imports and exports in the first half of the year exceeded 21 trillion yuan for the first time in history. In terms of growth rate, imports and exports in the second quarter increased by 7.4% year-on-year. This is an increase of 2.5% and 5.7% over the first quarter of this year and the fourth quarter of last year, respectively. The positive momentum of foreign trade was further consolidated.

The total import and export value of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region reached 2.54 trillion yuan in the first half of this year, a record high for the same period, according to statistics released by China's Beijing Customs and other departments on July 16. That was up 4.6 per cent from the same period last year. It accounted for 12% of the country's total import and export value in the same period. Of this total, the export was 673.87 billion yuan, up by 6.4%; Imports reached 1.87 trillion yuan, up 3.9%.

On July 14, it was learned from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. that in June this year, China's national railway sent 332 million tons of cargo, and completed 266.5 billion tons of freight turnover, an increase of 6.1% and 5.3% respectively, a record high in the same period. At present, China's railway freight volume, freight turnover and other indicators rank first in the world, and continue to maintain high operation.

Hangzhou Customs news, in the first half of this year, the total value of imports and exports in the Yangtze River Delta region was 7.74 trillion yuan, a new high in the same period, an increase of 5.9%, accounting for 36.6% of the total value of imports and exports in the same period.
