Hainan Airlines opens routes to Singapore and Europe, expanding international service coverage

2025-01-20

Hainan Airlines recently launched new flights from Lanzhou and Yichang to Singapore Changi Airport, a major move by HNA to enhance international connectivity. The expansion is a strategic move by the airline to meet the growing demand for tourism and cargo exports in Southeast Asia, especially Singapore, which is an important business and import and export hub.

The opening of new routes between Lanzhou and Yichang can provide foreign trade companies with more positions for the export of goods. More flights also mean more competitive air freight rates.

In addition to launching new flights to Singapore, HNA has also made significant progress in rebuilding its European route network. The airline will resume flights between Beijing and Oslo in March, a move that underscores its commitment to reconnecting imports and exports across Europe. Hainan Airlines will launch daily flights from Beijing to Manchester this summer, strengthening its services to the UK and offering a more flexible air forwarding plan for foreign trade companies and customers.

The moves are part of HNA's broader strategy to expand its international presence and adapt to a changing import and export environment. As the airline continues to recover from the impact of the pandemic, the opening of new routes and the resumption of existing routes is a sign of confidence in imports and exports of cargo.

With the opening of routes to Singapore and the resumption of routes to Europe, air freight will play an important role in the global aviation market, meeting the import needs of customers on all continents.

For customers with high timeliness, air freight is undoubtedly the best choice, and it only takes a few days to receive the goods from the Chinese factory to the signing. There is no doubt that the time is much shorter than sea transport. It also means more expensive shipping costs for customers.
